Janan started comedy in Houston in 2018, where she spent a few years performing in clubs, founding and co-running the well received JK Fridays Show series, and releasing a popular 4-season podcast, BYOBlanket, with her wife. She’s featured for acts such as Ronny Chieng, Nimesh Patel, Maria Bamford, Mo Amer, Rosebud Baker, and Kristin Key. She’s a Palestinian redneck comedian and yoga teacher from Texas. While she is an anomaly as a person, audiences relate to her story as that kid that just wants so badly to fit in and be cool. As a result, she consistently over dresses and has fashionable haircuts. Janan’s style of humor is silly, witty, and sarcastic.
